About My Big Spring Dentist

At My Big Spring Dentist, I am here to share the experience I had with Abbeville Dentistry and Dr. Ericson.

— Update 03/2025

Just wanted to say I have heard of yet another person going through what I experienced. The problem is not that they make mistakes by not following basic dental standards, it is also that they lawyer up to not give you your medical records and not pay for corrections.

For clarity, they will also tell you how bad their dentist did and that they recommend you correct their mistakes if you can afford to.

I believe Dr. Ericson can relearn basic dental standards, and I believe Abbeville Dentistry can make their dentists provide basic dental care. I wasn’t able to confirm I effected this change, but I am able to confirm my care was substandard according to the state entity that makes that determination, Abbeville’s service provided causes me pain to this day, and neither Abbeville Dentistry nor Dr. Ericson have given me my requested medical records going on two years now.

I personally would not recommend anyone to go to Abbeville Dentistry based on the substandard care I received that continues to cause pain, but if you do I would recommend you look at your own x-rays, make sure you get that arbitration agreement before they work on you, and make sure your dentist does not have a record of harming patients by looking at the Texas State Board of Dental Examiners Dentist Lookup.

Again, this recommendation is simply based on my experience and the findings of the TSBDE, Delta Dental, and Abbeville Dentistry themselves.
